VfB Kiefholz ROOKIE TOURNAMENT 2024 (MIXED)
Hello dear badminton lovers,
the third VfB Kiefholz ROOKIE TOURNAMENT will happen on
Saturday 14.12.2024!

We changed the number of teams from 18 to 20. See also the the list of teams below.
Confirmation Request:
We kindly ask all participants to confirm their attendance for the tournament. Please respond to this announcement or contact the organizing team to let us know if you will be able to join.
Additional Opportunity:
In case some of the listed players or teams are unable to participate, we will accept new teams as replacements. If you are interested in joining the tournament, please contact us to be added to
the waiting list.
We currently have four players who are still seeking partners. They are on the waiting list. If you or someone you know is interested, please reach out!

Tournament mode
Team tournament, only mixed doubles discipline (male+female)! Swiss-system tournament, means no KO rounds and everybody got to play same amount of games (at least 5).

Contact Fadi or Darko to sign up your team for the third Rookie Cup. Only full teams (both player names) are accepted. In case you are missing a
partner but you still want to play,
please contact Fadi or Darko.
No regular league players allowed, last tournaments winners (1st-3rd) are on low priority. Maximum number of teams is 20 (+ waiting
list).

Before the tournament
Sharing home made food at internal tournaments is a VfB Kiefholz tradition and we don’t want to disappoint here! Please prepare or at least buy some food. Discovering meals from different cultures is tasty and fun at the same time.
At the tournament
- Please use only proper ONLY INDOOR SHOES inside the gym.
- We will prepare tables for your food. Please write a note with the ingredients for people with allergies or vegetarians and similar.
- Pay 10€ per person in cash or Paypal to the organizers (tournament fee).
- It’s OK to warm up a bit before your game but please don’t take too much time as we want to finish on time.
After the tournament
If you have some spare time please help us putting back the equipment and cleaning the gym. Thanks!
